Menkes, Suzie

Menkes, Suzie
(c. 1940- )
Menkes was a British fashion journalist who was schooled as a fashion designer but became a fashion journalist for the International Herald Tribune. In 2002, she was blacklisted from attending all of French conglomerate Moët Hennessey Louis Vuitton (LVMH) designers' runway shows for writing an unfavorable review of the John Galliano show. Menkes had a reputation for writing scorching reviews and did not worry much about alienating her publisher's advertising clients.
